Talent from Tampa Models and Talent competed at the annual “Models of the South” competition in Charlotte, NC on November 18-20.  Modeling agencies, casting directors and talent agents from New York City, Atlanta, Chicago, and LA/Hollywood judged the competition in categories ranging from talent, TV commercials, photography, portfolio reviews, group runway, two-minute monologue, and more!
Every talent contestant from Tampa Models and Talent placed within their divisions!  Victoria Baird took first place in photography, first runner up in TV commercial, and second runner up in runway.  Alexia Aguirre took first runner up in photography, first runner up in TV commercial, and second runner up in runway.  Hayley Muley took first place in commercial, first place in runway, first place in photography, and 2011 Petite Model of the South. Makenna Shaikh took first place in TV commercial.  Trey Walker took first place in runway, first runner up in photography, and first runner up in TV commercial.  Raleigh Walker took first place in photography, first place in runway, first runner up in TV commercial, and 2011 Male Child Model of the South.  Charity Henry took second runner up in TV commercial.  Bailey Coats took second runner in both photography and runway, and first runner up in TV commercial.  And Tampa Models and Talent won the director of the year award!  Contestants rehearsed at the Rhino Film Studio on Central Ave.
